Then we looked around and we decided we wanted a bite, so we went to get a burger. We decided to start planning for dinner. We went to a seafood place at 6:00 with two ladies. Tomorrow night Isabell is very excited, because she gets to see her friend who are in Kentucky . Also tomorrow we are taking a boat ride in the hotel and we’ll go to a really big mall. That’s all for now.
Hello, this is Jose Canada and right now I’m writing a blog the day before I leave to Canada in the morning I have to wake up at 3:00 so I don’t think that I will want to write a blog. Tomorrow my first stop will be in Atlanta and from Atlanta to British Columbia ,Vancouver we will spend one day there and then we’ll drive up to Whistler and go skiing and come back to Vancouver for a day and come back the next I will write a new blog when I get to the airport Bye
I had a great first day being out of my envelope. My new class showed me around the school and I even met their school mascot, which is a tiger. For lunch I ate a very good hamburger and had a spectacular time at recess playing football with the boys. They even gave me a football jersey, just my size. Where I come from we play football a little bit differently. After recess, I played on the computer and played on a typing program called “Bernie’s Typing Travels”.It seems I am not the only traveler around here! I also took a tour using Google Earth to see a glimpse of my hometown. In science, I learned about mixtures and solutions. I got so close to the mixture bowl that I fell in! But don’t worry, it was FOOD!
I am on my way to Brooklyn, NY to a second grade classroom. While I am very excited to go on another adventure, I think I might miss my new friends at North Ward.
(You can see the video that the kids made featuring ME at www.mrsssmith.com.)
Thank you to Mrs. Menger, a 6th grade teacher, who wrote a travel theme song for ME!!!! She wrote the words and composed the melody. Isn’t it great? I feel so honored that her 6th grade students recorded it for me.
Come along and sing along…
The Jose Travel Bear Song
Come along with me
Come along with me
There’s a great big wonderful world to see
Come along with me
Come along with me
We’ll travel over mountains, deserts, and seas
We’ll meet lots of friends and see lots of sights
Our big wonderful world is full of delights
We’ll see the Eiffel Tower and the Taj Mahal
The Great Pyramids and Angel Falls
The Colliseum and Big Ben
Macchu Pichu and the Grand Canyon
Come along with me
Come along with me
There’s a great big wonderful world to see
Come along with me
Come along with me
We’ll travel over mountains, deserts, and seas
We’ll learn lots of new ways to say hello
And taste exotic foods on every shore
New holidays to celebrate will be found
We might find the world is flat instead of round
Hello-Hallo-Hola-Ni Hao- Alo-Jambo, Al salaam a’alaykum
My friends Emily and Matt, from Alabama were married on 12/22/07 and I was so honored to be their ring bearer. A ring bearer carries the rings for the bridal party in the wedding ceremony. It was a beautiful wedding and I got to wear a tuxedo.
Here I am looking rather handsome, if I do say so myself.
A beautiful bride, handsome groom, and adorable flower girls.
One of my favorite activities at a wedding is to eat wedding cake. Yum! Yum! This wedding cake was not only beautiful, it was delicious as well.
