I woke up bright and early, still stuffed like a turkey, from the huge meal I had eaten the evening before. I decided to take a walk and enjoy some more of the beautiful fall leaves. The colors were so beautiful - orange, crimson, gold, amber, and browns.

I learned that one of the traditions at Mimi and Pops, the day after Thanksgiving, is for everyone to pitch in and help decorate the Christmas tree. Here I am helping out and then sitting and enjoy the view.

Hey, did you notice my cool new camo outfit that Mimi bought for me!
We then had a relaxing afternoon visiting and playing games. We played all the regular games like Old Maid, Uno, Go Fish, Chess, Scrabble and others, but I also learned how to play a new board game called Puerto Rico. It was a little complicated, but after a while I got the hang of it.

That evening some of the relatives and friends came over to help eat some of the left overs. I did it again - I stuffed myself. That makes me one overstuffed teddy bear.

Everyone stayed really busy in the kitchen the evening before Thanksgiving and the morning of Thanksgiving, preparing all kinds of great food. In the afternoon friends and relatives began to arrive. Everyone was really looking forward to having a delicious meal. Everyone was so happy I had come for Thanksgiving and they were very interested to hear about all the places I have traveled. There were lots of cousins for me to play with.

Finally the meal was ready to eat. Before eating everyone bowed their heads for a prayer of thanks. Thanks was giving for all our bounty, for family, for living in a land of plenty and a land of opportunity. Then it was time to dig in. We had turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole, macaroni and cheese, squash casserole, cheese grits, Brussels sprouts, strawberry congealed salad, collard greens, home made yeast rolls, roast beef, red velvet cake, coconut cake, pecan pie, pumpkin pound cake, poppy seed cake, pumpkin gooey cake, apple pineapple dump cake, banana bread pudding, and hazelnut fluff.

What a great meal! That night I went to sleep and dreamed sweet teddy bear dreams.

Well, I have seen the Great Wall of China, the Great Pyramids of Giza, and my latest adventure has been to Alabama to enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday. I have been traveling with my friends, the Menger family. We left Jacksonville, Florida on Tuesday evening and drove about seven and half hours to our destination, Cropwell, Alabama. Cropwell is located about 45 miles east of Birmingham, Alabama. We arrived around midnight at Mimi and Pops house.
The next morning we got up and went for an early morning walk. They live on a lake and the views were great. We really enjoyed the vibrant autumn colors. This was a real change from Jacksonville, where few leaves change color during the fall season of the year.

I spent my day hanging out and getting to know everyone. Here are some of the new friends I met.

Benji and Junkyard

Halle and Bear
After a nice morning walk we then headed off to the grocery store and get all the fixins’ for Thanksgiving dinner. Type at you later.

Hello, I’m Sunny writing from Columbia, South Carolina! I am the class bear for a group of really great Kindergartners!
Here is a picture of me…
Each weekend I get to go home with one of the children in the class. This past weekend I got to play with Cielo who is 5 years old. She made a digital story with her daddy talking about what we did this weekend! Here it is! Click the play button to hear it!
